Rev. Averill talks about seeing things right in your face–such as the pasta claw or the milk in the fridge.  Mary Magdalene saw Jesus right in front of her and yet still did not recognize him.  Do we see Jesus right in front of us and not recognize him?  Do we see him as a historical figure, a great teacher, or just a friend?–when he is really our savior?
